‘Conducting Day-To-Day Life’ is my signature artwork for Evoking. This painting speaks volumes about how I feel when it comes to how you live your life, where there is
choice involved, and taking charge/control of your actions. Despite the difficulties (which help us grow immensely) we have a strong capability as humans to steer our lives. Every
action has a ripple effect and an energy flow, and we have the power to choose to see the positive.

Inspiration was drawn from star trails, visual patterns of audio frequencies, organic
patterns, and images of paradises.

The nature of my work is a visual exploration of science, nature and spirituality combined, within the context of our universe.

Our current state of the world leaves us with great matters of concern. We are constantly bombarded with media related fear driven information. This underlying tension leaves a distracting nervousness in our society.

Despite all of these matters affecting our daily lives, there is a shift happening in terms of our understanding as to what and who we really are. Instead of previously thinking we are all separate beings fighting for our survival as individuals at the centre of our own universes, we are becoming aware that we are connected and all part of the same living being, which is our home, Earth.

When we start breaking down elements onto microscopic levels, we notice the similarities within all living beings.

“The atoms of our bodies are traceable to stars that manufactured them in their cores and exploded these enriched ingredients across our galaxy, billions of years ago. For this reason, we are biologically connected to every other living thing in the world. We are chemically connected to all molecules on Earth. And we are atomically connected to all atoms in the universe. We are not figuratively, but literally stardust.”

― Neil deGrasse Tyson

By understanding our collective power within unification as apposed to division, we could change our outcome on this Earth completely.

My art aims to communicate what happens in the space between the realities of what we can physically see and what we feel intuitively as spiritual humans.

By drawing inspiration from my immediate natural surroundings and combining that with biological and commercial patterns, visuals of natural disasters, the cosmos (amongst others things), I like to bring the viewer into a landscape which looks familiar, but opens up relevant topics to be thought of and discussed.

The importance of steering away from the obvious helps us to look at the world around us in a different way. One where we can question how we feel about what is happening around us.

The most important part of my work is to enable a feeling, which cannot be communicated easily in words, as it connects from within.
